Curriculum Plan of Study

Students will complete 120 credits including general education, nursing prerequisites, and nursing major courses. Nursing courses are sequential and must be taken as outlined in the degree plan. 

Sample Course Progression: 

  • Year 1: Prerequisites (A&P, Microbiology, Psychology, English, Statistics, etc.) 

  • Year 2: Foundations of Nursing, Skills I–II, Pathophysiology 

  • Year 3: Adult Health, Pharmacology, Mental Health, Skills III–IV, Clinicals 

  • Year 4: Public Health, Pediatrics, Maternal-Newborn, Leadership, Capstone
