Readmission to the University

Readmission to the University will be required of students:

  1. Who were previously enrolled at SMSU and whose attendance has been interrupted by one or more semesters (excluding summer sessions).
  2. Who have been suspended from the University are not eligible for readmission for the equivalent of two semesters.

Students wishing to readmit to the University should contact the Office of Admission for the appropriate application or go to www.smsu.edu/admission.

Students who have been suspended from the University may appeal the decision by contacting the Academic Dean’s Office. Appeals will be reviewed by the SMSU Academic Appeals Committee.
