Student Center services and facilities include:

Administrative Offices: Located on the second floor of the Student Center, these offices also include Admissions, Center for International Education, Student Government, Mustang Card Center, and Student Activities Committee and Student Activities Office.  Campus Lost and Found, Locker Rentals, and Notary Services are available at the service window of the administrative offices.

ATMs: For cash withdrawals only, there are two ATMs in the Student Center. The SMSU Foundation provides one at the front entrance, and uses the fees collected to support student scholarships. The other, located by the Residential Restaurant, is provided by US Bank in conjunction with our Mustang Card Center. The dining area ATM provides fee free withdrawals for US Bank customers, allows Mustang ID Cards to access US Bank accounts, uses the fees collected to support the Mustang Card program, and dispenses cash in student-friendly $5 increments.

Barnes & Noble Campus Store: Located in the lower level of the Student Center next to The Coffee Shop, our Campus Store strives to meet the needs of all students at SMSU. Our friendly staff is always available to help students find whatever they need--especially their textbooks. Required textbooks, along with recommended texts and materials, can be purchased at your Campus Store.

Hometown Newspapers: A display rack of current newspapers from towns across the Midwest are available in the Coffee Shop Lounge on the Student Center‘s lower level for your reading enjoyment.

Lounge Spaces: A variety of lounge settings of all sizes are available to meet your studying and socializing needs, including a Coffee Shop Lounge, a Fireplace Lounge, and a TV Lounge.

Meeting Rooms: Both the Student Center and Conference Center offer a variety of meeting rooms with sizes and configurations available to accommodate meetings and activities for just a few people to over 400 participants. A complete spectrum of audio-visual equipment is available for all types of presentations and events.

Mustang Card Center: Located at the Service Window of the Student Center Administrative Offices, please click on this Mustang Card link to see all of the services provided.

Mustang Zone: Located on the second floor of the Student Center, The Mustang Zone Game Room offers FREE billiards, table tennis, foosball, skeeball, shuffleboard, darts, pinball, arcade games, Xbox and PlayStation gaming.  Assorted beverages, popcorn, and snack food items can be purchased.  The Zone accepts cash and Mustang Money for all transactions.

Service Window: The Student Center Administrative Office Service Window is open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 5 pm on Friday.  Services include campus-wide Lost and Found, copying, faxing, laminating, document scanning, locker rentals, vending machine refunds, notary, and more.

SMSU Dining Services: The Coffee Shop @ SMSU, Residential Restaurant, Food Court, and on-campus catering are available for the campus and regional communities to enjoy.

Student Activities Committee (SAC):  Located on the second floor of the Student Center and is comprised of The Club and Entertainment Committee, Special Events Committee, Novelty and Variety Committee, Recreation and Travel Committee, Public Relations and Social Media Committee, Treasurer and the SAC Coordinator.

Student Activities Office: Located on the second floor of the Student Center.  The Student Activities Office provides program resources, fund raising resources, club and organization information, student activities information, and student organization funding information.

Involvement in organizations and activities at SMSU is meant to be an educational and enjoyable experience for you. SMSU offers a variety of co-curricular activities ranging from club sports, to interest groups, student government, to academic clubs. Most students find membership and/or participation in these activities a rewarding addition to their college years and it is the intention of the University to promote student organizations and activities as an integral part of a student‘s education and development. Questions regarding organizations and activities should be directed to the staff members within the Student Activities Office.
