Weapons On Campus
No student or employee acting within the scope of university employment (including student employees and employees of organizations utilizing University facilities), or other individual shall carry or possess a prohibited weapon, whether visible or concealed, in or on Southwest Minnesota State University-owned or leased buildings, grounds, or other facilities. Firearms possessed or carried in parking areas are excepted as permitted by law. No vehicle owned, leased, or otherwise controlled by the University may be used to store or transport a firearm
